Double rotor lock 5401

This new generation of the latch is the result of a scientific development in cooperation with the University of Wuppertal to meet the changing market requirements.

The requirements for the development and layout  of the latch were the interaction of all components. Both rotors are locked by their own individual pawl which ultimately results in extremely low release forces.

In the case of a hanging or poorly adjusted door, the guide wedge of the striker guides the lock over the ramp of the plastic housing into an optimum inlet position (less wear on rotary latches / bolts). This favors the opening and closing harmony of the door and increases the service life of the locking components.

  • Low maintenance — no greasing, only cleaning necessary
  • Chrome VI free
  • Symmetrical construction (omission distinction left / right)
  • Easy installation (two M8 screws, DIN EN ISO 10642)
  • High tolerance compensation in the area of the locking pin holder
