This privacy policy is intended for a user of this website in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), Telemedia Act (TMG) and General Data Protection Regulation (DS-GVO) of the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by

D. La Porte Söhne GmbH as the operator of the website you are visiting.

1. Data Access

When visiting this website, the provider’s web server automatically saves log files “server log files” that can not be assigned to a specific person.

For example, the following data is logged:

- Website visited

- Time of the access

- Amount of data sent in bytes

- Source / reference from which you came to the page

- Browser and operating system used and the IP address of the requesting computer, which is anonymized after a period of 7 days

The legal basis for the storage is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GMO.

The data collected will be deleted after a period of 9 weeks. It is only for the security of the website and the protection against misuse, which justifies our legitimate interest in the storage of the data. A transfer to third parties, for commercial or non-commercial purposes, does not take place.

2. Personal data

Personal information means all information that is used to identify you personally and which can be traced back to you — such as your name, e-mail address and telephone number.

We only collect, use and transfer your personal data if this is permitted by law or if you consent to the collection of data.

3. Contact

If you contact us via the form on our website, the data you provide will be stored to answer your request. No passing onto third parties takes place. Alternatively, contact can be made via e-mail, telephone or post.

The legal basis for the processing of the data collected via the contact form is provided that the user has consented to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. If the contact is aimed at initiating a contract, additional legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO.

We use the data collected via the contact form to process the message.

The user has the right to revoke his consent to the processing of personal data. If the user contacts by e-mail, he can object at any time to the storage of his personal data. The conversation can not be continued in this case and all personal data of the user will be deleted.

If you contact us through the options that exist alongside the contact form, and we have no business relationship with you or no further contact, your personal information will be retained for a period of six months. The legal basis in these cases is Art. 6 (1) lit. f DS-GMO. Our legitimate interest is that these data can be used to process and respond to your request. If a contract arises as a result of the request, the legal basis for the processing of data is Article 6 (1) (b) DS-GVO. Without your consent, we will not share this information with third parties

4. Cookies

We do not use a cookie banner because we do not perform any form of data analysis. Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device by your browser. They do not cause any damage.

We use cookies to make our services more user-friendly and to continuously improve the functionality of our website. This also constitutes our legitimate interest under the GDPR.

Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser during future visits. If you prefer not to allow this, you can configure your browser to notify you when cookies are being used and to allow their use only in individual cases. Please note that disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

5. Links to websites of other Providers

Our websites may contain links to websites of other providers on whose content we have no influence. Please note that this privacy policy applies solely to our website. We do not control if other providers comply with applicable privacy policies.

6. Your rights: information, rectification and deletion

You as the user have the right to request free of charge information from us on the personal data stored about you. If your request does not conflict with a legal obligation to retain data (for example, data retention), you are entitled to correct incorrect data and to block or delete your personal data, as well as a right to store the data on you or transfer to a third party designated by you. In addition, you have a right of revocation against the processing of your data, unless this conflicts with a legal obligation on our part.

Any consent given to us for the processing of data can be revoked by you at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of the data on the basis of this consent until the consent is revoked.

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or if your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in a way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. 10. Use of Social Media

Our website uses social plugins from various social networks (“Facebook,” “Instagram,” “LinkedIn,” “YouTube”). The buttons are marked with the logo of the respective social network. When you visit our website, these buttons are deactivated or merely linked, so no data is transmitted to the social networks without you actively clicking on them.

Once you activate a button by clicking it, a direct connection to the respective social network is established. If you are logged into one of the social networks, the provider may associate your visit with your user account. If you do not want this to happen, we recommend logging out of your account beforehand. Even if you are not a member of a social network, it is still possible that providers may collect and store data such as your IP address. If you wish to avoid this, please do not click the buttons.

The legal basis for processing your data is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Data processing is carried out in the interest of public relations for our company and to enable communication with you.

Specifically, Facebook (“Meta”) is provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Meta Platforms Ireland”). LinkedIn is offered by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland (“LinkedIn”). We also maintain a profile on YouTube, which is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

As part of using these online presences and profiles, data is typically transferred to the USA. There is an adequacy decision by the European Commission for data processing by U.S. companies that are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF). LinkedIn processes data on the basis of such certification.

The providers mentioned above offer features like Page Insights or YouTube Analytics, which allow us to access and evaluate statistical data about the use of our social media presence. Data processing in the context of visits to our social media profiles is based on a joint controllership agreement pursuant to Article 26 GDPR. You can find the respective agreements at the following links:
